"Day, did you really need to take ALL of the duvet?
"But, you didn't really need that part of the duvet, right Mama?"
"Actually, I did... it was the only part that was covering me. You know I'm still trying to get over this flu and that I get chilled really quickly and still need to rest."
"But, you have your sundress on and that covers you enough that you really shouldn't need this cover, too."
"But, I might. I might get super cold and not be able to find enough energy to go and get another blanket."
"You won't get cold... I'll keep you warm with my heart."
"Some duvet along with your heart would be nice..."
"And... I'm sure it would be... but..... I just really need it aaalllll. See, I like to have the WHOLE duvet fluffed up under me 'cause then it feels like I'm floating on a cool and crisp yet warm and soft cloud of floating squooshiness and it just makes me feel so happy and so perfect inside..."
"But, don't you remember when we talked about how sharing is caring and about how everything is even better when shared with someone else?"
"I remember... and I hope you do feel better to be sharing the bed with me, Mama."
"But, I'd like to be sharing the duvet."
"And you are... you're shaaarriiinng by letting me have my turn with it."
"Greyhounds are so unfair... grumble, grumble....."
